How do anti-wrinkle injections work?

Anti-wrinkle injections are procedures where an active ingredient is injected into the treatment area to relax the excessive contractions in the muscles of the face. After a treatment, excess movement and the appearance of unwanted lines are diminished, allowing you to achieve a rejuvenated appearance and your desired outcome.

How long until I see results?

Depending on your skin you can start to see the results of these injections within 3-4 days. Your wrinkles will begin to get less and less deep, and your fine lines will fade. After 1-2 weeks, you will be looking at the full benefits. You are encouraged to return for a 2-week review where you will be assessed to ensure optimal results have been achieved.

How long will my results last?

This can vary person to person - the average results last around 3-4 months. This is also dependant on dosing.

Does it hurt?

Any injection can hurt, but the needles used for this treatment are very small, so pain is usually minimal - most people say it feels like a tiny bug bite. We offer topical numbing agents if needed.
